I River Hp120 Very Durable, Older 20g Mp3 Player By Botos on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I've had this iRiver mp3 player for four years, and have used it continuously since I got it. Although it's slightly on the large size, as it afterall not a newer slim model, it still fits in a normal jean pocket with no problem. In the four years that I've had it, I've seen each of my friends go through multiple types of iPod's that have died or had other problems, while the iRiver h120 has gone on strong. After four years, it still has a battery life of about 10 hours of music use, but that is compared to the original 15 hours of usage. The interface and firmware on it are somewhat dated, but there are new firmwares available that does improve the over the original. The control button is one of the better model's used by iRiver, and allows for easy surfing and selection of your music. As for adding music to the player, it's as simple as plugging it in and copying your music to it like a hard drive. No itunes or other program is needed to organize your music. You can add folders or organize your music in any format that you want. Overall, the iRiver h120 is probably the best older model mp3 player I've ever seen, as far as reliability and ease of use is concerned. It certainly isn't as flashy or great as new video mp3 players, but for it's price and durability, it is an excellent buy if you can find one.
