I Robot Scooba Wood Floors Beware By CLHolt on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I hate mopping, so when I saw the Scooba on woot, I had to order it. The first two times I used it, using the Clorox cleaner that came with it, it worked perfectly. The Scooba was useful more as a daily cleaner than a deep scrubber, but that's to be expected. I then used it twice with diluted vinegar as the cleaner--the Scooba measuring cup has lines for both Clorox cleaner and vinegar. It worked perfectly. But the last several times I've used the Scooba it has failed to suck the cleaning water back up. For my tile floors this is not really an issue; standing water for a little while won't cause any damage. But for a person with wood floors this could be a disaster. I have tried every troubleshooting tip in the manual, but nothing works. I am still using my Scooba.
