Isaac Mizrahi for Target Does A Bridal Headband
By kateri27 onI love finding a good bargain and the fact that Target had elegant bridal headbands was a dream come true.
This bridal headband could be worn by the bride, but I was in a recent wedding and the bridesmaids were all asked to wear this piece.
The headband has three small bands of rhinestones connecting to a silver base that is supposed to sit snuggly on the head.I found that although the headband looked elegant it was rather flimsy.I was afraid that the headband was going to break when I took it too the hairdresser for my practice style.Fortunately it was a little sturdier then I gave it credit for (but not much).
The headband looked elegant with our simple blue bridesmaid dresses.It was not comfortable though.It pinched behind my ear and I could barely keep it on the entire evening.
Style wise it was great, but comfort wise I am never wearing this headband again.Then again the bridesmaid shoes were also quite painful so I guess that is what you get when you are a bridesmaid.
Isn't that always the way it is....bridesmaids have to endure some pain and often unattractive dresses for the love of a friend! Sorry you weren't happy with this but great that it didn't break on you before the wedding day!
I know what you mean about the pinching behind the ear. I can't wear a lot of headbands for that reason. At least you did not have to spend a ton of money on something that was that uncomfortable. Hope the shoes did not set you back too much!
Pinchy shoes and a pinchy headband? Geeze... I hope that the wedding was beautiful and was able to distract you from the uncomfortableness of a bridesmaid.
Even though it was uncomfortable, it's rare to find something that looks great for as little as $7.99. Still sounds like an ok choice for a bride on a really tight budget.
It's a shame it pinched,but it's something you only wear once and it must have looked good.

Too bad this was so uncomfortable, but at least it was just for one day!
Isn't that usually how things are, things may look stylish but they are not very comfortable. It is tough being a girl sometimes :)
