Isaac The Ice Cream Truck, a fun kid's book!

Go ahead, try to find children's books about ice cream trucks. There aren't very many of them. That's why I was so happy to find this one, titled Isaac the Ice-Cream Truck, and ordered it online before ever having read it.
If you have a little one that loves books about trucks, chances may be he or she does not have any about the trucks that jingle down the streets putting smiles on children's faces.
In this book Isaac the Ice Cream truck does not feel as though doling out ice cream is a very important job. He observes other trucks that appear to perform more meaningful tasks. At the end of the story, Isaac appears on the scene during a fire.The grateful firemen, appreciating cool refreshing ice cream after battling the fire, make Isaac realize that he does indeed have a very important job afterall.
I really enjoyed this story and the delightful illustrations, both by author, Scott Santoro. The faces on the trucks are too cute for words. This was the author's first book! Reading Isaac the Ice-Cream Truck makes me want to seek out Scott's other books. I do recomend this delightful children's picture book!
