It Happens Every Spring By Palmer Chapman By rcpae on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

It Happens Every Spring is about a lonely middle aged woman. Her youngest child has just gone off to college and her husbands business is picking up. She has an encounter with a homeless man that has her wanting to reach out to him and make a difference, all to the surprise of her neighbors and husband. This book really deals with appreciating each other and our need to feel appreciated. Once her kids leave her husband does not realize that she needs him even more. The book follows their rocky marriage and is very true in its portrayal. I really thought that the writer did a good job having you relate to the characters. At some points I thought, yes I agree with her, and then I would flip the page and thing...Oh, well I agree with him. Reading this book will caused me to pause and want to tell someone I loved that they were important to me. I would highly recommend reading this book. I truly enjoyed it.
