This title of this hard cover book is," It IsThe Lord " and contains 115 pages. The author is Peter M. Rinaldi and he has written a beautiful account of the facts surrounding The Shroud Of Turin. This sacred cloth is considered to be a treasured Relic of Christianity. There have been many questions asked regarding the authenticity of this shroud. Doctors, Scientists and Photographers have examinedthe Shroud thoroughly. Some are convinced it is the real thing. Peter Rinaldi was born near Turin, Italy and when he was serving as a altar boy in the Cathedral where the Relic is preserved, he first came to know about The Holy Shroud. He was privileged to see and examine the Relic in 1933. Peter Rinaldi became a priest and continued to champion the cause of the Holy Shroud. He lectured on the subject and wrote his first book, " I Saw The Holy Shroud." The author is totally convinced that the image imprinted on the cloth is indeed Our Lord. That is why he says this book is a Study of The Shroud Of Christ. He goes into great detail explaining why the portrait from The Holy Shroud reveals to us something of the human and divine personality of Christ. I, for one, heartily agree with the facts discovered and I truly believe The Shroud Of Turin is a most holy and sacred religious Relic. I have always been interested in learning more about this subject. I watched television lectures where I observed experts measuring every inch of this sacred cloth. They too had to admit it was an authentic imprint of our Lord's face.
