One of my favorite purchases lately has been new sheets. There's just something wonderful about having new clean sheets on your bed. I am trying different blends and materials, and I'm not yet sure what my favorite it. But this set is 100% Combed Cotton Sateen. They are 360 thread count, and can be machine washed and tumble dried. The color theme for my guest room is teal, so I often by various shades of aqua and green for the queen bed. These sheets are a beautiful light mint green.

The set includes one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two standard pillowcases. One of the features I always look for in sheets is that they have an extra deep fitted sheet, because it is no fun struggling with a fitted sheet that would be better suited for a baby's crib. I prefer to have plenty of room to spare.

These sheets are very attractive, and occasionally I sleep in the guest room when my husband is out of town. New sheets make me feel like I'm staying in a 5 star hotel. Perhaps one day I will try a higher thread count, though I have a tendency to look for bargains. I imagine that a higher thread count must be heavenly, and sometime soon I think I will treat myself to a higher quality sheet set. These sheets were quite a bargain at $29.99 at TJ Maxx.
