It's Nice But It's Not That Easy By JennEm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My hair color comes out of a box. It's true. I'm just not a person who can see spending all that money to have my hair professionally colored. It might happen one day when our income is higher, but for now my blonde is coming from that little tube.
I have been using Nice & Easy since I was 16 and started coloring my hair. That's because it's what my mom used, and I didn't see any reason to change. I did start using Hydriance for awhile but they've apparently stopped making that. So it was back to the Nice & Easy.
Nice & Easy is a little bit less expensive than some other brands of hair color. I don't know why. I've never thought of trying a more expensive brand because this does the job for me.
Of course the smell is awful, but don't all hair color products smell awful? The coverage is good. I can go for about weeks before I see dark roots, although my natural color isn't too far from my applied color. It's also messy, which is typical for DIY hair coloring. The conditioner that comes with the product is great, though.
I'm going to keep using this product. It works, and that's the bottom line for me.
