Prior to being a stay at home mom I was an advertising executive with a HUGE suit collection.
I have always loved the J Crew suit. I like the fact that most of their suit jackets have matching jackets and either pants or skirts.
The Seersucker set is no different. This jacket is classic and for J.Crew, inexpensive. It comes in either soft graphite or sour lemon seersucker. The suit comes in sizes up to 16.
I did try on the pants for this suit and I found that a women in a size 16 should probably not wear a seersucker pants, it just was not a flattering fabric. Fortunately for me the pleated skirt fit like a charm!
I like the seersucker collection because I can wear it in the spring and summer on those days when I need a suit but don't want to break out the classic blue wool. It is light and airy, and still looks professional.
This suit is a must buy for the business women with spring and summer meetings.

This J Crew suit sounds nice! I am also a firm believer that just because a company makes something in my size does not mean that I should wear it. ;-)
I've always liked seersucker. Whole parts of my make-up are just stuck in another era. Glad to hear that it's still around. I does make such nice summer clothing.
I've never heard of a seersucker suit, but it sounds great for the hot summer months.

Sounds like a great outfil. But, I live were no one wears suits. Most people don't even own one. I like the style, but I have banned high heels for more than ten minutes at a time. Dressing up, just looks so uncomfortable to me, but I can't say thats the case. Thanks for your insight.
