J.A. Henckels knife set, gets the job done

Before purchasing this set, I had a cheap set of knives.Actually, we had one paring knife that was very good quality and used that for all of our chopping.We decided we needed to get a decent knife set, but did not want to spend $200.

Henckels has different levels of quality and this set is the lowest level - it is from Henckels International.I still like this set a lot.We've never had any problems with it.It came with a sharpening tool, but we never have used it, even though we have had this set for a few years.I mainly use the steak knives.We've rarely used any of the others.Even when chopping, I use the steak knives.We always put these knives in the dishwasher and have never had any problems.

I feel like I paid for what I got.It isn't top of the line, but it is a decent set of knives that has worked great for us.I also like the handle and the way it feels when I am holding it in my hand.
