Jacques Pastry Shop takes the cake!

When we were planning our wedding, I heard from everyone that we just had to use Jacques Pastry Shop for our cake. So, hubby (fiance at the time!) and I went to Jacques Pastry Shop in Pembroke, NH to do some taste testing. Immediately upon entering the shop, I noticed how quaint and clean the place was. Also, the yummy smell of fresh pastries hit both of us like a brick wall. The woman that we worked with was very nice and seemed very educated on wedding cakes. Based on the number of people attending the wedding, she told us immediately how big of a cake we needed and the price range for such a cake. She then brought out samples. Hubby and I sat their stuffing our faces with every flavor cake they offer. We finally decided on a 3 layer white cake with raspberry and chocolate filling (alternated these between the layers). I remember that the price sounded very reasonable, but we wanted to research other places. Ultimately, we decided to go with Jacques and are so happy we did. Not only did they do a fabulous job on our cake, but they also delivered it to our wedding site. The cake was gorgeous and so delicious. We received so many compliments on our cake and how delicious it was. Jacques Pastry Shop is a nice quaint shop that has many well qualified cake makers!
