Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy By Shawn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With the Crash Bandicoot series no longer being exclusive to PlayStation, Sony was forced to seek out a new mascot for its systems. The successor was Jak and his first game was Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Much like Crash Bandicoot, the game was filled with humor and played as an adventure/platforming title. However, unlike the linear experience that Crash Bandicoot provided, Jak and Daxter was a wide open world that could be completely explored.

You won't find Jak saying much, as he's the proverbial silent hero, but his friend Daxter provides enough comic relief for the two of them. At first the game's difficulty appears to be that of a preteen, but the game has enough allure to attract and keep the attention of older gamers as well.

If you're in the mood for a title that's easy to get into and has a rewarding experience, then don't hesitate to pick up this classic title. You won't regret it.
