My daughter, like most 8 year old girls, is a huge Hannah Montana fan. So this game was a necessity, according to her. The point of the game is to help Hannah Montana prepare for a music competition called Music Jam. You play as both Miley Stewart and her pop-star altar-ego, Hannah Montana. There are mini-games, tasks to make it to the competition, and musical training. My daughter's favorite part of the game though is dressing Hannah Montana. Her second favorite part is training on the guitar and drums. The game came with its own stylus with a Hannah Montana guitar pick. The pick is used for training on the guitar. This game is rated E for everyone, but your child should be able to read to play. My 8 year old got a little frustrated when she got stuck in the game. But I was glad that she actually found a game that challenged her. If you have a Hannah Montana fan you're buying for, this game is as my daughter said "a necessity."

Game that can help to prepare for a music competition. that sounds nice and I recommend this to my friend's son who will be sitting for his music examination too.
