JanSport- I love these backpacks. They have one they call the Big Student. I love this backpack because it has lots of pockets. It has five pockets that allow you to stay organized. It has the two large main pockets. Then it has three pockets in the front that are smaller for things like cell phones, pencils, calculator etc. One pocket can be used to store electronics like an iPod or a small portable CD player. They also have a padded back panel to make them more comfortable while you carry them on your back.
Another reason that I love JanSport is that the backpacks are extremely durable. I would get one while I was in college and use it for about a year. This would be a year of packing around about 23 pounds of books and other things. The only reason I replaced it after one year was because it was dirty from so much use. Overall, these were my favorite backpacks.
I still have this 2 years later and it has really stood the test of time.

Jansport does make really good backpacks!! After each year of college for me too I usually bought a new backpack as well. Walking to class with tons of books, and snow, sleet, and rain did it's number each year. :o)
This company is known for their quality backpacks. When my two teen sons began high school four years ago, I bought each one of them a Jansport backpack. I too love all of the pockets and the fact that the straps are padded well. The padding helps to protect their shoulders when they are carrying huge loads of books as student tend to do in high school. My one son is a senior now and the other one is a junior and their backpacks look like they were just bought. These backpacks cannot be beat. Great details! Nice job!

I don't remember seeing JanSport backpacks when my children were in school. Today, they seem to be very popular. I like the multiple pockets, so kids have a place for everything. They look very attractive, sturdy and dependable.
I love JanSport backpacks - they're a must for all school aged children in my opinion!
