Reviewing: Jason's Naturals 30floz Lavender
Purchased at: Sunflower Natural Market     Price: $12.99 USD

I found this product line years ago. I have psoriasis and I cant use the soaps, body washes and lotions that are most common in all the stores. They tend to really irritate my psoriasis. Im not exactly positive which specific ingredients cause the irritation but I have found that if I stick to the more natural products I do much better. Jason Lavender Satin Shower Body wash has natural and organic ingredients.
Their description on the bottle Delicate Lavender, relaxing Chamomile and Comfrey, rich natural oils of Avocado, Apricot and Vitamin E are concentrated into a formula of unequaled quality.

INGREDIENTS
Aqua (Purified Water), Sodium Myreth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamide MEA, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel, Vegetable Glycerin, Lavandula Intermedia Leaf/flower/stem Extract, Anthemus Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Extract, Glycol stearate, Tocopheryl acetate (Vit. E), Allantoin, panthenol (Vit. B5), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Sodium PCA, Persea Grattissima (Avocado) Oil, Polyquaternium-7, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Natural color, Fragrance Oil Blend.

*It says on the bottle that Jason Satin Shower Body Wash is certified organic. It is also free of Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, Animal By-Products and Parabens. This product is biodegradable, has a pH balancing formula, natural deodorant action and Jasons also does not test its products on animals.

PACKAGING
I have the 30floz bottle; it comes with a pump top. Unlike a lot of the pumps found on products this pump top is sturdy, works well and is easy to use. It is about 3 inches long and a little over an inch wide (tapered at the application point). It also delivers a good amount for use of this product.

NOT JUST A BODY WASH!!
The bottle does tell you that you can use Satin Shower Body Wash two different ways.
As a body wash or added to your bath water! The bottle doesnt give specific amounts to use when using itit just says to add to your bath or used as a body wash. I have used it both ways.

AS A BUBBLE BATH
I wouldnt call it a bubble bath exactlyalthough if you add enough it will give you bubbles! One of my daughters did this She added-I dont know how many squirts as the tub was filling. When I went to check the water level there were bubbles a foot deep!
This stuff is concentrated so you dont need to use much. A 30floz bottle lasts me for a couple months at least! When I add it to my bath water I usually use1-3 squirts depending on how much bubble/foam I want. You get foam bath results by using 1-3 squirts. We dont have a tub any more just a shower so I just use it as a body wash now.

WHEN I USE IT AS A BODY WASH
When I use it as a body wash I have a loofah like scrubby cloth. Jasons Satin Shower is very concentrated so I only need one full pump to wash my whole body. It is the consistency of a really thick gel and is clear-cloudy in appearance. It also lathers EXTREMELY well. The bottle describes it as a rich lather and I have to agree. It rinses easily and doesnt leave you feeling like youre covered in oil! It does leave your skin feeling lightly moisturized and I have found it to be very soothing when my psoriasis is flared up. It actually stopped the itching caused by the psoriasis and dry skin. I always feel refreshed after using this. I have never experienced any kind of drying or irritation from this product.

FRAGRANCE
Jasons Lavender Body Wash leaves your skin very lightly fragranced. It has a clean, fresh scent It is lavender scented but it is not what I would call flowerysome lavender scented products are super sweet. This body wash is not like that. They blend lavender with something (the bottle just says fragrance blend) I want to say that theres citrus in there maybe a little orange.

* Although this product has never irritated my psoriasis and I think its awesomethe bottle does not clearly state if this is ok for sensitive skin.

Jasons Satin Shower comes in a variety of fragrances Aloe Vera, Rosewater, Apricot, Chamomile, Cranberry, and Herbal. I have tried all of them except the Cranberry. The quality is the same and awesome for each.

PRICES & WHERE TO FIND IT
I believe this is available in smaller than 30floz bottles, however I havent actually seen them that way in the stores in my area. I paid $12.99 for my 30floz bottle at our small natural market. You can find this at any natural food store; I have also seen this at Raleys. The prices vary from $12.99 to 14.99 depending on which store you go to.
You can also find it online.

RECOMMENDED
Anyone wanting to use a more natural/ organic body wash or foaming bath, and especially if you have dry itchy skin!

I love Jason Body Wash. Like you I have autoimmune disorders that create some real problems with skin sensitivity and itching. The Jason brand works wonders for it. I love that you need very little to bathe/shower with. The scents are subtle and very refreshing. This is simply the best of the body washes in the marketplace.
