Jeanne D'arc (abbreviated from here as JD) is a very engaging strategy role-playing game from Level 5, the people behind Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy, both very fun RPGs. JD has a cel shaded 3D art style and it is viewed from an isometric camera angle. It is a very pretty game, and this is accentuated by the high quality screen on the PSP. It can be lighthearted at times, and a little dark at others, but it is mostly tame (no blood, violence is not gratutious), so I suppose it does fit the T rating it was given. The gameplay is excellent, with simplistic controls and a healthy amount of challenge. All in all, this is an excellent game for anyone who enjoyed Disgaea or Phantom Brave on the PS2, as it shares the genre and the same sort of tactical fun.
