Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer By Tina Lehman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Lately I have been trying to avoid sun exposure as much as possible, so wanted to try a sunless tanner. I decided to try Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer because it was touted as bringing on a gradual, warm tan rather than the orange streaky tans I remember experimenting with in college.

I began using the moisturizer and was pleased that the tan was gradual and natural-looking. It didn't have an unpleasant odor like I remember other tanners having.

There were two things I did not like about this lotion. Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer isn't the most moisturizing lotion I've ever used. I needed to supplement with another, thicker lotion and my skin isn't even very dry. Secondly, a few weeks after starting to use this product, I went to the pool with my baby for a swimming lesson. After thirty minutes in the pool I stepped out and was horrified to see my tan dripping off me. Clearly, the tan generated by this lotion is not permanent or even close to it.

My mom loved this product, but she didn't go swimming with it! I can't imagine getting out of the pool and watching your tan drip off! Yikes!

I'm so happy to see that people are self tanning the healthy way these days!

Dripping tan! Love it.. guess the chlorine isn't a good mix, but it's surprising after such a long time.
