Jergens Or Generic? By cukal6 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
For a couple of years I had been using the Jergen's moisturizing tanning lotion medium tint. However, at $7/bottle it was getting a little expensivle for me. So, one day while I was in Dollar General I noticed that they made a generic brand. Normally I don't buy generic creams or lotions, but I figured I really didn't have anything to lose. After all, it's the middle of winter and nobody will see if I turn a little orange for a while.
Boy was I pleasantly surprised. After applying the lotion for about a week (apply from neck down like you would a normal lotion) I started to turned a really nice shade. Like I had just spent a week in the Caribbean. There was no orangeness, no streaks, no patchiness.
My only complaint is that it does have alittle bit of odor to it, but I think that Jergens does to so I will gladly spend the $4 less for the generic brand.
