Jessica Seinfeld's Deceptively Delicious Cookbook
By Tina Lehman onThe book Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld is possibly one of the most inspiring cookbooks a mom of young children can own.
Faced with the problem that many mothers have of making sure their children get nutritious meals, the author gives dozens of recipes that include vegetable purees.
The recipes are easy to follow, and are accompanied by photographs of the foods.
In addition to the recipes (which are delicious and innovative), there are instructions on how to puree the foods, as well as how to stock your pantry, and store your purees. It also includes notes from a nutritionist on how the nutritional value of these menus is increased by adding vegetable purees and other tips on how to get your children to eat healthily.
I was entirely inspired to make a change in the way I cook food for my family!

I just saw this in the bookstore. Now I may have to go back to buy it! Thanks
This sounds like a really important book to have. I wish they'd break out cookbooks as a separate category!
I love cookbooks. I collect them and sit down and read them like a novel, this one sounds like it has some great information.
I got this at the library last week and loved it! I"m actually going to buy it next time I'm at the book store.
I will let my sister know about this cookbook.
My Mom just gave me a cookbook, I like the idea that one was geared towards kids.
This is totally something I have to read! Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a great cookbook. Thanks for sharing the information.
Seems like this would be a the perfect cookbook for a new mom. I love to hear recommendations on books from family and friends. Sometimes that's the only way I learn about some of them as who has time to read everything out there! Thanks for sharing :O)
I really need this. My baby is only 6 months but I'm sure later on I will have issues finding foods she will eat that are still good for her. I want to make some fun meals that she will really enjoy. I will look this one up.
