I use Jiffy Professional Greenhouse every spring to start flowers or plants for my vegetable garden. This convenient portable greenhouse consists of a 11" x 22" tray, a clear plastic dome that helps to retain warmth and moisture, and 72 pellets that look like large brown tablets. The tray and the clear dome are reusable, so you can just buy additional pellets each year; they are available in stores and online.

These pellets are what does the trick and makes starting plants very easy. They are made from sphagnum peat with lime and a special fertilizer added; this creates excellent "soil" for the seeds to grow in. All you do is add some water, and the brown tablets will expand and turn into little net packets filled with soil; you just plant seeds into each one, cover the tray with the clear dome, and watch your plants grow. When the time comes to transplant them outdoors, the procedure is quick and easy as well. I just love how simple it is. You transplant them together with the packet, without disturbing the roots: the net is degradable, so it will simply dissolve in the ground.

You do not have to be a professional gardener to successfully use this professional greenhouse!
