I purchased this jacket last month and I couldn't be happier, the winters here can get very windy and cold so you need a good jacket if you plan on staying warm during motor sports. This jacket is water proof and has kept me warm in downpours and very heavy cold winds. Using this jacket while riding through the California Mountains was also very suppressing, this jacket kept me very warm, in fact I was only wearing a tee shirt under it. The neck is very comfortable and snug, and the jacket manages to live up to its water proof claims. You certainly will not win any fashion contests wearing this jacket, because it is only available in black, but you definitely get legendary performance. In terms of quality and performance you cannot beat the value of the water proof Joe Rocket Ballistic 4.0 jacket.
