John Deere for little ones

This tractor is the perfect summer toy.It says ages 4-7 but we got it for my son for his 2nd birthday and he has played with it for almost 2 years now.I think he'll be too big for it in another year or two.It's not that he'll be too heavy, he'll be too tall.My 6 year old has a hard time sitting on it because his knees come up too far.
As I've said, we've had this tractor for almost 2 years and never had a problem with it.Someone is on it every day that it's nice enough to go outside.The battery has always outlasted their riding, as long as we make sure to plug it in every night.It's still running on the original battery that it came with and that amazes me.
We really like the fact that there are two speeds on this tractor, 2 1/2mph and 4 1/2mph.It also has reverse.When we first got it we made sure to stay on the lower speed, but now that my son is bigger he likes to go fast.
It also came with a cart to pull behind.The cart holds up to 22 pounds and my son likes to drive it around the yard and pick up sticks.He's having fun and my yardwork is getting done!
Overall, this is a wonderful little ride-on.Great durability, the kids play with it every day, and it looks just like a bigger tractor so they feel big like dad.
My old neighbors had one of these and thier kids rode it all day long until they wore the power pack out.
This sounds so cute. I'm glad that it has two speeds. I would be concerned for such a little guy to go to fast and not be able to control it. Cute that he has the idea of helping with the lawn..picking up sticks. Very cute :)

How precious is this!! I love the little cart that comes behind the tractor-perhaps you could sneak in a little ride & be carted around!!

This is so cute! I especially love the idea that he is helping with yard work and doesn't even know it! LOL! This sounds like it is worth every penny but I am not surprised with it being a John Deere!
Ah, very smart! Buy a toy that makes the kid want to work and help out lol. It looks like a very nice toy and with most toys breaking fast, it seems to have a long lifespan. Thanks for the great information!
Looks great... I would want it to be muscle powered, but I know the kids are all into motors.
