John Deere Gator - Peg Perego

We got our children the Peg Perego John Dere Gator a few years ago at Walmart. It is a battery powered ride on vehicle. It has two gears, low - which goes 2 miles per hour, and high - which goes 4 miles per hour. Plus it has reverse. The age recommendation is ages 3-6. We have gotten a lot of use out of it. For the most part it has held up well. Other than we just recently has to replace the gear box. It wasn't working properly. Not sure why, probably the amount of rough use it gets! The replacement was about $30.00. The thing the kids like the most about this ride-on is that it has a bed on the back that they can haul stuff with. The love to haul their toys or dirt or rocks or whatever they can find! It does have plastic wheels, so it sometimes gets stuck in wet grass or on hills and the tires just spin and spin. So that is kind of a pain, but the kids still love it.
