Reviewing: John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Color Glaze
Purchased at: Walgreens     Price: $10.00 USD

Pros: The smell. The consistancy.

Cons: The bottle.

Firstly, the smell is amazing. If you're familiar with John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette shampoos and conditioners, you know what this smells like. It's almost like a sexy chocolatey nutty coffee kind of smell. To me, it's very invigorating and relaxing at the same time, almost.

To use the color glaze, you first start off by washing your hair, of course. Obviously it's suggested to use John Frieda's shampoos and conditioners, but I'm sure you could skip using their products. I, personally, use the Volumizing Shampoo. It says to condition before putting the glaze on, however I've found that it doesn't completely wash out of my hair, and almost makes it unmanageable if I use conditioner.

The color glaze brings out some amazing color, it really does. It makes my natural brunette hair multidimensional color. But the color looks extremely natural. It gives enough color, to where I was asked if I dyed my hair. The shine it gives, is far beyond any product I've used. On top of that, it makes my hair feel silky smooth.

You do have to use it every time you wash, I use it about every 3 days. Every once in a while I will skip a day, and not use it because it can build up. However, with skipping just once, the shine and the color doesn't completely go away. So it doesn't look bad on the day you skip.

Overall, it's a wonderful product that was well worth the money.
