Johnny English By Tifffany By Tifffany on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Johnny English stars Rowan Atkinson of Mr Bean fame as a James Bond like spy. Of course, he is never as suave or dapper as Bond, so instead we get Atkinson bumbling his way through the spy genre. The plot of the movie involves Johnny English trying to discover who has stolen the Crown Jewels of England. The movie is basically English getting into one sticky situation after another (sometimes literally) with the help of his assistant, played by Ben Miller.

I found this to be an enjoyable watch. Even tho Atkinson wasn't playing Mr Bean, the character was very similar. The movie was full of slapstick humor and some disgusting parts that would delight young (and some not-so-young) boys. I think this movie is pretty family friendly and also a funny film. I really enjoyed Mr. Bean and I think this has some of the same humor as the show did. Although Atkinson plays a different character, I find that it seems like pretty much the same character. I liked this movie, although it isn't as good as The Bean Movie. I would recommend this as a family film or just for anyone to watch.
