Reviewing: Jose Eber 13mm Curling Iron
Purchased at: E Bay     Price: $120.00 USD

I bought this high end, "salon quality" curling iron in the hopes that it would give me well-defined, long-lasting curls. It delivered that much, and not much more, thanks to the "clipless" design of the curling iron. The instructions say to position the hair near the scalp at the base of the curling iron and wrap the hair around the iron, moving toward the tip of the curling iron as you go.Easy enough, right?Yeah, until you reach the ends of your hair.Since there's no clip, you have to use a glove (included in the box) to hold the hair in place for the few seconds until the curl is set.OUCH!!!!!Even the glove didn't keep my poor hands from feeling the high heat of this thing! So that day I ended up with great hair and burned hands!!!!I know I've already said this, but it really bears repeating.....OUCH!!!!!!!!

The thing is, the curls really lasted all day long, even though that day was particularly humid. So I guess I'll keep this curling iron for days when I can really take my time (and use an oven mitt!).My recommendation? For more frequent use, go out and buy a more traditional curling iron that won't leave burn marks on your hands!
