My partner got the Journey to the Center of the Earth movie for her birthday recently. It's a very good movie if you are into science fiction or if are a child at heart. The movie is full of adventure and exciting scenes. I actually saw this in the theater when it came out but it still kept my attention watching it at home for the second time. The only disappointing part about this movie is the 3-D. You have to keep the cheap glasses on to watch it in 3-D and there isn't much difference from watching it in 2-D. There are maybe 4 scenes that seem to 'jump out' of the screen but not much more than that. The rest of the movie is normal except the glasses make everything look either red or green. I really recommend this movie but don't bother with the 3-D.
