Jthm Director's Cut By Wade Bowers on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a great graphic novel by Jhonen Vasquez. It is definitely a very interesting read. The way I see it, Jhonen created this character as a way to vent all of his "ugly" emotions. Things like rage, hate, and more rage are hard to express safely. Johnny does this in a very funny and entertaining way. The comic is very brutal and violent but somehow manages to keep you smiling throughout. I really enjoyed the comic for its humor and art style. I think that it made me look at some things about people and life differently. I reccomend this comic to anyone that is a fan of dark humor. Definitely thumb through it before you buy it though, it's not for everyone by a longshot.
