Well, me being a girl and being a sappy oneat that, am sucker for a good love story and this one certainly doesn't let you down. This book follows the story of Julie Mathison, the child who grew up as "the bad kid" in the foster care system and who grew up to be an honest, hardworking citizen of Keaton, TX.It is also the story of Zachary Benedict, a guy who grew up with everything life could give him, but ended up being hated and despised by his grandmother and kicked out to deal with life on his own at the age of 18.He made good and became a famous movie star and director, only to have his life turned upside down again when his wife is murdered and he is sent to prison for it.

On a quest to escape from prison, Julie is thrust into Zach's life and the book does a wonderful job of telling the story of how they get to know each other and overcome all of the pain and challenges life has given them and fine love in the midst of it.
