Jump Into the Washing Machine

Jump Free & Clear is the best of the three unscented liquid detergents that I have tried in the past year.

I have gotten so that I really cant tolerate scented laundry detergents. They make me sneeze at best, and some of the heavily perfumed ones nearly make me nauseous. I had been using Jump Free & Clear, which is the Meijer store brand, and was very happy with it. But this year Ive had the opportunity to try two others, and so I have been able to compare them. I have also tried Our Family Free store brand, and Era Ultra Free. Jump still comes out on top, in my opinion.

All of the ones I am comparing are the 2X concentrated formula, and all say that they will wash 32 loads. I always use less detergent, so I get more loads, no matter which one I use. I think they clean equally well, but I have to admit that Im not a big fuss-budget when it comes to laundry.

All have #2 recyclable plastic jugs, and contain no phosphorus.

All three have the new design of no-spill cap, but I think that both store-brand jugs have the better design. In fact, both of those jugs are identical except for the color. The Era cap has lower sides, and its much easier to spill detergent from.

The price of the Jump is between the other two.

The thing that makes this the winner for me is that it really does not smell like anything. The other two both have a chemical scent. Jump Free & Clear doesnt smell like much of anything.Perfect!
