Just As Good As The Expensive Ones

After buying a new laptop, I decided I should buy a new case to protect my investment.When I looked online, I was surprised at some of the prices for laptop cases I found.

I did some research and then set out to investigate the top ones on my list.I went to Best Buy, Circut City, Sam's Club, Target and Office Max.All of these stores had great looking cases but the prices were just off the charts!I just wanted something simple.I wanted a black case, a great price and quality product to carry my laptop in.No designer names, no bulky looking luggage.Did I buy it from one of those stores?No!I went to Walmart!They had a basic laptop case with everything I required.

This case is called the "icon".The tag says a symbol of innovative gear.Exactly what I was looking for. I can carry this in my hand or use the shoulder strap to carry it. It's black and it has lots of pockets to store your papers, pens, pencils, cell phone, etc. inside.It has a velcro strap that securely holds your laptop.The only thing that was a little strange about the strap is that it is set off center.I was expecting it to be in the middle.Maybe I am missing something in the design?

The outside has a large pocket which I store my electrical connection for the laptop in.It has a pocket on the back of the case also for storage.I like that the zipper is a full zip around.This makes it convenient for when I just want to leave the laptop inside the case but have complete access to the computer.

One feature that I didn't realize what it was used for (until I read the description on the tag) is the strap located on the back side of the case.There is a snapped strap called the "Trolley Strap".This is for using with your luggage.You unsnap the strap and slide the strap over the handle of your luggage.Pretty cool huh?

This case holds up to a 15.4" laptop.My laptop is a 15.4" widescreen and there is still about 2 inches of space left on the sides. I took the sponge divider that comes with the case and adjusted it for a custom fit so the laptop won't be sliding around inside.

This case is exactly what I was looking for.Something simple, durable and a great price. Check this one out and save some money!I'm sure you will agree with me that this one is a winner.
