Just bought a new Microwave

My husband & I decided to invest in a new microwave.The one we had was beginning to scorch our food some of the numbers didn't work.So, after a quick trip to Wal-mart, we found one we thought would work for us & looked really nice.

It is an Emerson 1.1. Cu. Ft. 1000-Watt stainless steel microwave oven with grill.When we first started using this microwave, it was a little wierd trying to get adjusted to the fact that there are no numbers.You use buttons in increments of 1 or 10 in order to set your clock or your microwave/grilling time.Once you learn how, it's not hard, just different.I prefer the numbers myself.

I like that it has a child-safe lock for when we have children, but for the most part that feature will not be used.The grilling function is pretty good.My husband tried it one day but said it didn't work so great...i think he probably just didn't cook it long enough.

I do like all the different one-touch settings for various types of meat or foods.It makes cooking or thawing food out pretty simple & easy.
