Just Say Romance And I'm Hooked

I love all things romantic, and I especially enjoy looking at decorating magazines with a romantic feel. One that I have already reviewed is "Romantic Country."Now I'm going to review "Romantic Homes", as it's another one of my favorites. I especially loved their "Home For the Holidays" issue, which had lots of great Christmas decorating ideas.

One article told how you can use things that you already have in your home, as a foundation for holiday decorations. (Think colorful china (like Old Country Roses), beautiful throws or afghans, elegant crystal, and dreamy angel collections.) Greenery can be placed behind all the pictures, brooches can add sparkle to plain pillows, glassware can be placed in front of a mirror on a mantle piece, with a string of white lights behind it, and fruit can be displayed in beautiful bowls or on cake stands. These are just a few of the wonderful ideas mentioned. Another article talked about decorating your home with crowns.

Quaint, romantic shops are often featured, and it's just one of those magazines that makes you want to curl up in a cozy chair, with a cup of hot tea, and a lighted candle nearby. It's what fantasies are made of!
