The JVC Everio camera is one of the only series of video camcorders that offers the camera with a built in harddrive. This camcorder allows you to capture 14 hours of normal quality video and then you can just connect it to your computer via USB and download all of your precious little videos onto your computer. It's that simple. The only problem with this, is that the video that the camera saves the videos as are .MOD files, which are a modified version of the better known MPEG. This means that your windows media player and most other players do not support this. There is a program that comes with the disk but it is truthfully not much help. I found that i needed to search the internet a lot to find the proper video conversion program, that i don't need to load up one at a time and set a million settings. All in all, this camera is easy to use and great, only problem is the file conversion.
