Kaluakoi Villas By Tink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I stayed at the Kaluakoi Villas Hotel on the island of Molokai. This is a very secluded hotel located directly on the beach. Our room was large and had a partial kitchen with stove and refrigerator and coffee maker. The staff were very friendly at check in. They even told us to make a dinner reservation before we went to our room. The earlier you get the reservation booked the better chance you have for getting a table at the window area to watch the sun setting.
We walked around the hotel and checked out the little stores and the small grocery. One thing to tell you is that the stores all close at 7pm. So get your snacks before then.
The hotel has a freshwater pool but we enjoyed the ocean and the beach. The water was a bit rough for swimming. We were the only ones on the beach for hours. It's very secluded and private. At night we took a walk on the beach. I looked up at the stars and was amazed. Take a flashlight because there is no lighting once you pass the hotel grounds.
We have stayed at the Kaluakoi Villas for a few years. It is always a pleasure to return to paradise! Highly recommended!
Hotel Molokai

Wow, sounds beautiful, and very peaceful...that's my kind of vacation! ;)
Sounds really nice! I would like to go there someday!!
how close are you to other dining options? Can you get a cab? My husband and I are looking for a place to go this year and this sounds ideal. Except for the limited eating options...
I am from Hawaii, but I have never been to Molokai...now I live in California...this is on my list of places to go!
Sounds like a beautiful hotel. Thanks for the great information.
You're making me want to go to Hawaii--RIGHT NOW!!
Molokai s history as a leper colony is an historically interesting one. This is one of the most protected islands in the chain and next to Lanai, the most secluded. I would love to visit this one day.
Interesting place in picture. Must have nice iews. How was the weather. Which month of the year would be best to visit there. Holidays are fun. Nice to have new knowledge about the new places to visit.
That sound so great and relaxing. I wish I could get away and go somewhere like that. Sounds like paradise.
nice villas, I'll go there someday. Hawaii is also the best place for traveling.
