As a person who owns a "toy" business, I have to test a lot of lubricants, and I have to gather the opinions of my customers as well.

The Kama Sutra line of lubricants is a superior one in every way. The premium silicone-based lubricant is this one, Royal Bengal. It is available in several sizes, from a small tester size to the most common one, which is 3.4 fluid ounces.

Note: Silicone gets a bad rap ever since the silicone breast implant scare. Silicone is a naturally-occurring substance, and it exists in the human body naturally as well. It is COMPLETELY SAFE to use, (although I still wouldn't suggest drinking a gallon of it) and will not harm you. The best part is that silicone is organically inert, which means that it will not interact with other substances. It is completely safe for people with allergies, and HIGHLY suggested for those with genital piercings.

Royal Bengal has all the benefits of being a clear, unflavored, silicone-based lubricant, which are:

-extremely durable, and lasts a very long time, and suggested for use in anal intercourse. (lubricant is a MUST for anal intercourse, and something is better than nothing, but silicone-based lubricants are best choice for this activity. Royal Bengal is the best choice for this PERIOD, in my opinion.)

-safe for use with condoms

-safe for use for women who easily get yeast infections

-fantastic choice for intercourse in water, as this lubricant doesn't rinse off.

-best for people with allergies or genital piercings

-very thick gel, and unbelievable staying power

The drawbacks are:

-Not easy to clean up. Requires a lot of soap, as the silicone adheres to the skin.

-might stain some clothing or sheets. I'd leave the silk undies out of the picture when this is in use. You can usually get the stain out with most stain removers, but some fabrics will still leave a mark. This is not a colored liquid, so it will not leave a colorful stain, but might still leave a mark.

-not recommended for use in oral intercourse, unless you want a weird coating on your tongue for a while.

-some users find it too thick, and prefer something thinner.

The texture is excellent, and the lubricant is not sticky. It is not flavored, which is good for keeping yeast infections at bay. This is a great lubricant for marathon (as in weekend-long) sessions, or for REALLY dry days (lots of caffeine, alcohol, salt, and not enough water will contribute to this. Women who indulge heavily in coffee or rum will find this product helpful!).

Overall, I trust the Kama Sutra company, which has been around for over 30 years!
