Keep that Sunburn cooled down
By Maliki2 onThe sun finally came out, and I was stuck out in a field for hours. What I didn't notice is the sun beating on my head. I returned home and noticed that I had a major sunburn on my head. As I didn't want it to peel and it was a bit soar, I took a trip to the local drug store, Right Aid. In the sunburn section I specifically was looking for a Aloe product, and this is where I found the Solarcaine Cool Aloe Burn Relief product. I remember using the old cold spray on sunburns when I was a kid.
It's easy to spot as it is a green color "goo" in a bottle. It was the 8 oz size. It cost approximately $7, but I couldn't be happier. The bottle has lasted alot longer than I had ever thought. All you do is apply it to those burn areas a few times a day and viola it works like a charm. Keeps your skin moist and your burns from peeling. It claims that it cools instantly and I would have to agree.

Solarcaine really is a must have for summer in my house! My whole family seems to burn, never tan! What's to obad is that one must be in pain to really appreciate this product ;)
I remember my mom using Solarcain on me as a child, it didnt know they had an aloe one, will have to check it out. thanks for sharing.
We grew up using Solarcain! Here in California, we get lots of overcast days by our coastline and people get terrible burns every year. Nothing takes the pain away like this does.
Wow, and you can probably use a spray product right through your hair, which would not work so well with a rub-in product.
I needed this stuff when I got burned really bad at the beach a couple weeks ago. Sounds great!
I've used regular aloe and it works ok, but when you add some real pain reliever like benzocaine or lidocaine it is sooo much better. I'll look for this one the next time I'm out buying sunscreen and sunburn relief.
Aloe are very good for burn and cut. I always plant one in the garden in case I burn my hand or skin while cooking.
Aloe is the best for burns....good choice!
This sounds like a must for anyone that has gotten sun burned.
I need to run out and by this NOW... I was out house-sitting for multiple people, watering their gardens for hours, and I was so toasty by the time I got home! This is definitely something I will have to try quite soon.
