Off! Familycare Smooth & Dry is a repellant with a cornstarch base.It's not like the typical oily spray.It goes on completely dry.I was able to just spray and leave it alone without rubbing.The scent is tropical and pleasant. Off! Smooth & Dry is supposed to repel gnats, ticks, fleas, biting flies, fleas, chiggers, and mosquitoes.I wore this at night during an outdoor party, for approximately 4 hours.I came home without a single bite.I was quite impressed.I did not reapply at all after my initial spray.
The only down for some people might be the fact that this is an aerosal and also contains 15% DEET.I suggest trying other products in the FamilyCare line if you do have a problem with either.

Not oily? Sounds terrific! Mosquitoes just bother me terrible. I guess I need to get this product!

Sounds good. I can't stand that sticky feeling that normal insect repellents leave on your skins. I may actually like this one.

Well, I sure like the part about not oily. I just HATE that. Good to know that such a product is made. I'm not crazy about the DEET, but in some situations the dry application might win out.
This is the first mosquito repellant product I've heard of that isn't greasy/oily! If I'm ever in a buggy area, I'll have to pick this up for sure.
I'd love to try this product. I hate the sticky and wet feeling from most of the Off products. This will be one I will buy for the summer!
