Keeping it under control

Being an individual who suffers from acid reflux I always was hesitant towards eating spicy or greasy food, anything that I would trigger my acid reflux. Similar to heartburn acid reflux affects many people around the globe and maybe people leave this condition untreated. My doctor recommended trying Zantac, an over the counter drug which controls the stomach acid and inhibits acid reflux from happening. I took the drug on a regular basis for a number of weeks then ventured out to my local Mexican restaurant. Being an avid lover of spicy food, I dared to order something of that nature, hoping the medication would limit the reflux that would soon follow. To my delight the medication worked perfectly and I didn't have to worry about any pain at all during the night. I also found on many occasions that Zantac is a good for preventing acid reflux as soon as it happens. The medication is very quick acting, but also very long lasting. I find trying just one pill will relieve my acid reflux for up to 12-14 hours. By taking the pill twice a day I am insured that my acid reflux will not be a problem while eating spicy food. Another great thing is the pills are relatively small so they are easy to swallow, and they don't leave a bad taste in your mouth afterwards. If you suffer from acid reflux I suggest you talk to your doctor about Zantac and I'm sure you won't regret it.
