Keeping Stainless Steel Stainless By Cheez on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Over the summer, we moved into a house with stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and we were worried they would be a hassle to keep clean. Grease splatters, fingerprints, smudges andd burnt on food would be especially noticeable against the shiny surface. We were right to be worried, because at first it was tough to keep the appliances clean. With the cleaners we were using, the stove needed to be cleaned often. Tough stains took serious effort to remove and there would still be visible smudges after cleaning.
Recently, however, we came across a Stainless Steel Cleaner made by a company called Zep. After the first time using it, I was amazed. It removed all of the stains, even the toughest ones and left no smudges behind. It also didn't leave streaks like some of the other products we had tried. After cleaning, theres a sort of protective coating that makes the surface much more resistant to stains and therefore easier to clean in the future.
Best of all, there was no excessive effort required. Just spray it on, and wipe it off. There's no scrubbing and no need to apply more than once per cleaning. For tough stains, just let the spray work its magic for a few minutes before you wipe it off.
Overall, this product is quick and easy to use and will leave your stainless steel shining like new.
