This washing machine is not only a great machine for getting your clothes clean, it's fun to watch too. It holds a lot of laundry (4.5 cu ft) and its very easy to use.
This is high efficiency washer and you can only use high efficiency laundry detergent. This does limit your detergent choices somewhat as not all washers are high efficiency yet.
The clear glass top makes it easy to look inside and watch the wash cycle as it cleans your laundry. The lid locks automatically upon start of the cleaning cycle and can only be unlocked by stopping washer.
This machine gives you a lot of timed options for different types of laundry loads you might have. You have options for regular wash, whitest whites, bulky bedding, etc.). You also have the normal choices for water temperature.

Wow 799 seems like a pretty big price tag for a top load washer. I wonder how this is on water usage relative to a non-high efficiency top loader. I guess all of the front loaders out there are technically high efficiency. Based on this Kenmore 48102 review it might not be the best choice going out there as far as front loaders go, it can be bought for a lot less money than this one.
