Kentwood Louisiana, Home of Britney Spears

Kentwood, Louisiana is a teeny tiny blip on the map. It's very close to Missippi, and about an hour's drive from New Orleans. Wes stopped by Kentwood on a recent roadtrip because it is the home of Britney Spears.

There honestly is very little to do in the quaint Louisiana town. Unless you are a Britney fan, I wouldn't recommend going. If you are a britney fan however, you must check out the Kentwood Historical Museum as its mostly dedicated to the pop star. They have many of her personal items, as well as special awards she's won. The most interesting exhibit they have is her childhood bedroom completely recreated and behind glass.

Besides the Museum, I recommend checking out the Kentwood Cafe, as it has very authentic southern homestyle cooking. The folk there are very friendly but will stare at you if you look like an outsider. All in all it was a great experience and I certianly recommend it for any Britney fan!
