Kia Sedona, best crash test rating.
By tldann onI own a Kia Sedona minivan.You always hear about it having a great crash test rating, well I am here to tell you that it is true.I was in an accident a few years back (2004) while driving me and my son to the grocery store.My son was 18 months old at the time.I recieved a few injuries and my son bumped his head.The van took $15000 worth of damage, the other car was totalled.I am very impressed that a vehicle could be this damaged and that both riders in it were just slightly injured.They didn't total the van, they fixed it and I am still driving it today almost 4 years later.It is none the worse for having been in such a major accident.It still looks great, it still runs great and we have had no real problems out of the van since we have bought it.There aren't many vehicles out there you can say that about.And it is relatively inexpensive to boot.

Wow, I was under the impression that Kia's were cheaply made. Thanks for the great info and it sounds like this is a fantastic car to have. I don't know of many people who can say that after major damage the car still runs great. Thanks
wow you were in a crash with your 18 month old and everyone made it out unscaved. It sounds like a safe family vehicle worth looking into.
OMG! I would be sold on this minivan too if it took that much of a beating and STILL is in operation!

I love my Sedona! We just bought it in September and I'm glad to hear that you and your son were kept safe. That was one of the reasons we went with the Kia.
