Kia Sedona Minivan '05 By Brandi Best on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I will be happy to be rid of ths van. If I could write a very shortreview I think that would say it all. We have had our van for about 3.5 years. Bought it new. never owned by anyone else. Wish I would've went with the Ford instead. Or any other model.

Seriously it has been that bad. About a year and a half ago it started "falling" apart. The vents in the back are falling out of the ceiling. The passenger handle thing above the door detached. The doors started sticking, and they are super hard to close. We have been through 2 sets of tires a year since we purchased the van. Had it aligned, bought the "good" tires, everything. Nothing has worked, and it keps eating tires like crazy. Which gets expensive!

One of the good things about the van though is the seating. It seats 7 and we have managed with 3 carseats, 1 booster seat, and one not in a carseat/booster seat to fit everyone comfortably in the van. In the beginning it wasn't as comfy, because the twins had to be in the middle to be able to get them in and out. Now that they are older they can sit in the back, and the oldest daughter can sit back there with them.

Overall, I would not advise wasting your money on a Kia van. The van was advertised at $18,000. We had a $8,000 trade in, and still ended up paying $26,000 for it. And I have given up fighting them over it. I plan on get a new van this summer. Anyone in the market for a piece of junk?! LOL
