I thought this was going to be the greatest thing for my 5 year olds trip to Disney. A digital camera for kids! Boy was I wrong.
First, let me point out the good. It's very easy to use. Just a few buttons on the back that he was able to figure out very quickly. It's also easy for him to look through because it's got 2 viewfinders. You look through it like binoculars. Lastly, it's pretty durable. It's been knocked around a lot and still works.
Now the bad. The screen on the back is microscopic. You can't see anything on it. The pictures are also terrible quality. I think about 1.0MP. Also, if you take a picture looking through the viewfinder, everyones heads are cut off in the actual picture.
I just expected more from a $50 camera and for my younger son I will probably go on ebay and buy an actual digital camera with 3.0 or 4.0MP.
This is definitely not worth the money!

Oh my gosh! You'd think they could have done better than that for the price! Glad we didn't go this route for my son:0) I got a new digital camera and gave him my old one! Aren't hand me downs great?

I am so sorry this did not work out for you. We thought about getting one of these for my son but never did, now I'm glad. The back of it actually looks like a toy I had growing up that was called a viewmaster.
Wow, $50 and not really good? I would think Fisher Price would put out better stuff.
ugh..for $50.00 I would of expected more too! I am sorry it tuned out to be a lemon.
You would think they would be able to figure out pretty quickly that people were just going to give the real thing to the kids rather than shell out that much money for such a crappy product. This is really good information.
