Kids Crocs - Axle Style
By cafn8me onWhen I got my 8 year old son these Crocs for Christmas, I wasn't even sure he would wear them, since he's pretty particular about what he wears. But my daughter and I are such huge Crocs fans that I thought they were worth a shot.I liked the idea that they would be light and comfortable, and their antimicrobial (read: non-stink forming!) material was a definite bonus. This particular style of Crocs doesn't have the usual airholes in the top and sides of the shoe, so they're even okay to wear in inclement weather. They have a padded leather upper for comfort, and a nice, thick lug sole for added traction whether my son is playing in the yard or trekking back and forth to the school bus stop.Plus, the laces are thick and sturdy, and are easy for him to tie by himself.
After just a tiny bit of coaxing, my son finally gave in and tried them on (I think the camo print is what really won him over initially) and voila! - instant Crocs convert! He says he loves the way they feel on his feet, and now they've become his favorite shoes!
The $40 price tag is not bad considering the amount of wear he'll get out of these shoes, because these Crocs look great with jeans or khakis.Looks like my son and I have finally found a pair of shoes for him that we both love.

Hmmm, sounds worthy of 40 bucks - thanks for the info!
ooh! so glad I saw this. I have been wanting to get my son some Crocs but didn't know how he would do in the "clog" style. These sound great!
i don't think i would be able to wear these myself...but glad it went well for you!!!
Never tried Crocs before. So many people love them.
They LOOK like duck shoes in the picture. Different. Glad he likes them and the anti funk is a definate plus:0)
I didn't know that crocs made shoes that laced. Interesting. They look like what I used to call duck shoes.
glad mom & son found the right stuff they've been looking for.. v!
Well we still like Crocs. Have many pairs for our family.
