I love the book by Penny Warner,' Kids' Holiday Fun'. Penny Warner has also written other party books including 'The Penny Whistle Party Book", which is also a great book. 'Kids' Holiday Fun' is a monthly activity book that gives detailed instructions of how to do wonderful crafts/recipes with your kids all year. The book starts in January and goes through every major holiday throughout the year. For expample, there are several Valentine's Day crafts in Febuary from Valentines to make for classmates to chocolated dipped fruit you can make yourself. Then, for Easter there are several good crafts such as different ways to dye eggs and decorate them as well as making a clay basket to put them in.

I have dog-eared this book a lot in the few years I've had it. It's a wonderful gift for a family with young children, or someone who loves to plan parties and do projects. I highly recommend this very useful resource to any mom.
