Having two young children and two cats, I do my share of cleaning up icky messes. This cleaning product has actually gotten out the toughest stains, and removed some gross odors as well.

It has an orangy scent, which can be strong but is generally better than whatever smell it's removing. And usually the smell of the cleaner dissipates in a few hours, whereas certain messes if left unclean will worsen.

It's also easy to use. First you have to remove any excess solids or liquids, then spray the foam on the stain. You can either blot it up right away or let it sit a few minutes for tougher stains. It usually removes any marks in the first application for us.

They do have different directions for lingering odors (fortunately, we've avoided any of those.) For odors, you spray the area heavily, not wiping it up. As it dries, the enzymes work to remove the odors from the carpet.

Overall, this has been a useful product for us and one that any household with kids and pets should not be without!
