Killer Pancake by Diane Mott Davidson
By Karen onDiane Mott Davidson has written a culinary mystery series, and I have read quite a few of the books from this series.I find them highly entertaining and have enjoyed every one I've read up to the present time.
Goldy Schulz runs a catering business. In Killer Pancake, she is hired to concoct a low-fat menu for a cosmetics company. Not the easiest task for a caterer, but Goldy is up for the job. When a saleswoman for the cosmetics company winds up dead, Goldy's sleuthing skills are put to the test to see if she can come up with the killer.
Goldy is a fun character, and I really get a chuckle out of reading about her adventures catering different affairs. The author also includes recipes in her novels, which make the story even more interesting.I haven't actually tried any of them yet, but some of them do sound scrumptious.
If you are looking for a lighthearted murder mystery and like reading about food, Killer Pancake would most likely interest you, as would any of the books from Diane Mott Davidson's culinary mystery series.
