Kilz Casual Colors: I Love This Paint Container! By Alexsandralyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have a lot of painting to do before I can sell my mobile home. I like to use Kilz for my ceiling because of its excellent stain-blocking value, although the latex-based Kilz doesn't work very well to block water stains. I use oil-based Kilz primer for the water stains.
This new Kilz Casual Colors paint container design is just heavenly to work with. I don't need a screwdriver to pry open the lid. The fluted lid edges make it easy to grip the lid with my fingers, and I just twist the lid off. The container has a pour spout for no-drip pouring into my paint tray. The pour spout is wide enough that I have little trouble dipping my trim brush into the container without getting my fingers messy even when the paint is nearly gone and I'm reaching for the bottom. And when I'm done, I just twist the lid back onto the paint container. I have one container of Kilz Casual Colors that's been sitting around the house for more than a year now, and it's still as fresh today as it was when I first bought it. The plastic container doesn't rust, and no hammering down the lid means that I don't splatter paint everywhere, and I always have a tight seal to keep the paint fresh. I wish every paint can was just like this one.

Finally, a paint 'can' that makes sense! Sounds like a good product, thanks for the info, will have to keep it in mind as we're in the process of color choices for some rooms which hopefully will be done for Thanksgiving. Thanks for the info
